Obsidian Technologies’ STRIPR™ optimises large deployments of Wave Relay radios. The STRIPR™ reduces the volume of multicast routing and SA data crossing between linked networks. This reduction in inter-network traffic ensures that the maximum bandwidth is available for network services.

STRIPR™ is a small, rugged device designed to connect MPU4 radios on different ‘nets’. Configured using a simple mission programming application, the device, once configured, requires no user input in the field. Also, remote configuration is possible via the radio network to the STRIPR™'s on-board web based configuration loader.

Programming application allows ‘favourite’ configurations to be saved and shared via network or file transfer.

Advanced users can setup Quality of Service parameters for voice data and video feeds dependent on mission requirements.

STRIPR™ is able to pass selected multicast broadcast and unicast traffic between networks. This enables the passage of mission-critical voice channels and data streams between networks in an efficient manner. STRIPR™ can be used to aggregate SA positional messages ensuring that valuable bandwidth is reserved for other key traffic.

STRIPR™ can be used to control traffic between all Persistent Systems’ MPU4 & 3 radios, dual radios and also Persistent Systems Quad radios with the use of an external power supply.
